Amelco’s Expansion into Ontario’s iGaming Scene

Amelco, a leading name in online sports betting, has officially received approval to introduce its products to Ontario’s flourishing iGaming sector. This marks a pivotal development for both Amelco and the Canadian iGaming industry, which has seen remarkable growth in its first official year of licensed operation.

Ontario Welcomes Amelco with Open Arms

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and iGaming Ontario had a promising presentation with Amelco, wherein they were introduced to the brand’s sportsbook suite and player account management system.

Impressed by what was showcased, the authorities granted Amelco the much-awaited licence.

Statements from the Leadership

Brandon Walker, Head of Amelco USA, expressed his enthusiasm about this venture. He noted the rich sports culture of Ontario, hoping for a swift and impactful entry with several operators already set to launch. He also shared ambitious plans for the company’s expansion throughout Canada in the coming year.

A Glimpse into Amelco’s Journey

Founded in 2006, Amelco began with a specialized market data feed. The same year, they initiated the development of core software libraries. 2007 saw them expand their Automated Trading System (ATS) platform, introducing a trading platform for their inaugural betting customer.

The following years witnessed integration with third-party sportsbooks and, by 2010, the launch of their first sportsbook. From its inception till now, Amelco has acquired several licences, including in New Jersey and now Ontario.

What Amelco Offers

Amelco’s offerings are comprehensive. Their platform provides intuitive solutions, a full-fledged sportsbook suite, player account management, and much more. All these services will soon be available to their partner operators in Ontario.

Although no partners have been announced yet, Amelco has hinted that such an announcement isn’t far off.

Their iGaming suite boasts games from reputed developers like Pragmatic Play, Pariplay, Red Tiger, NetEnt, and Evolution Gaming.

Looking Ahead: Amelco’s Future Endeavors

Amelco is poised for a dominant entry into Ontario, with a balanced focus on sports betting and iGaming. The company’s plans for the next 12 months in Ontario are described as “significant,” details of which will be revealed in due course.

Beyond Canada, Amelco continues to enhance its presence in North America, especially in the U.S. A strategic partnership with Simplebet allows Amelco to offer superior betting products, demonstrated by their most recent licence acquisition in Ohio.
